Silksong follows the story of Hornet, a major character of its predecessor, as she ascends higher in a new kingdom full of coral forests, caverns rich with moss, and cities to reach the shining citadel, all the while Hornet fights opposing bugs. This has become quite a common trend, with games like Avowed, The Elder Scrolls 6, Elden Ring, and of course, the long-anticipated sequel to the indie sensation Hollow Knight, which is Hollow Knight: Silksong. Several games in the past few years have been announced much to the excitement of fans, and while some of them did end up launching, others were kept on the back-burner or "ghosted" the hyped players. ![]()
